Team McCarville Earns Spot in Olympic Pre-Trials
Congratulations to FWCC's Krista McCarville squad who have been named one of the teams to compete in the Capital One Road to the Roar (Olympic Pre-Trials) to be held in November in Kitchener, ON.In 2009, McCarville's rink was phenomenal at the Pre-Trials and earned a berth to the Olympic Trials where they finished an impressive 3rd.
This time around, the Pre-Trials field also includes 2010 Olympic Siver Medallist Cheryl Bernard, 2006 Olympic Bronze Medallist Shannon Kleibrink and former Scotties Champs Kelly Scott and Amber Holland.Laura Crocker, Renee Sonnenberg, Crystal Webster, Val Sweeting, Cathy Auld, Tracy Horgan and Barb Spencer round out the field.
