FWCC Launches High Performance Centre

Q & A with Rick Lang

Question - What is the High Performance Centre?
Rick: The High Performance Centre is an exciting new trial program happening at FWCC this season. The purpose of this concept is to:
1.) Provide high performance curlers with an ideal training environment that will enable them to compete more effectively on the provincial and national stages;
2.) Provide the FWCC with an additional source of revenue
The basic concept is that two FWCC sheets will be available for practice exclusively for teams/players that enroll in the program.

Question - Which two sheets will be used for the High Performance Centre?
Rick: Sheets 7 and 8

Question - Do teams enrolled in the program pay for the ice?
Rick: Yes. These teams will pay an annual fee of $300 (over and above their membership) for the privilege of having 15 hours of practice time on ice especially prepared for them.
