FWCC's Krista McCarville and rinkmates Ashley Miharija, Sarah Lang and Liz Kingston finished in fourth place at the Ontario Scotties in Kenora. The McCarville squad dropped the 3 vs. 4 page play-off to Sherry Middaugh. The Ontario title was won by Sudbury's Tracy Horgan who defeated defending champion Rachel Homan in the championship game.

Team McCarville Has a Successful November
November was a busy month for FWCC's Krista McCarville rink!
McCarville and teammates Ashley Miharija, Liz Kingston (in place of Kari Lavoie) and Sarah Lang won the Courtesy Freight Northern Ontario Superspiel at the Port Arthur Curling Club, qualified for the play-offs at the Sun Life Classic in Brantford and were finalists at the Duluth Cash spiel.

FWCC's Krista McCarville team served notice in 2009/10 that they will be a force in Canadian curling for years to come with a third place showing at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts to go along with their bronze medal from the Olympic Trials earlier in the season.
