Congratulations to FWCC's Joe Scharf and Mike Assad rinks who qualified for play-offs at the Northern Ontario Men's Championships. This year's champions are the Brad Jacobs squad from Soo Curlers.

FWCC Prominent in Northern Ontario's Top 5 Moments
The Northern Ontario Curling Association unveiled the "Top 5 Moments in Northern Ontario Curling History" on March 8, 2010 and FWCC curlers dominate the list. The Top 5 Moments are:
1. “The Shot" and Al Hackner's Second Brier and World Titles (1985)
2. Team Houston Wins Back to Back Scott Titles (1988 & 89)
3. Al Hackner Rink Wins their first Brier title and World Championship (1982)
4. Heather Houston Team Wins 1989 World Championships
5. Morning Classes (1948)
