Scharf's squad, which includes Mike McCarville, Robin Champagne and Gary Champagne, earned their spot by winning the Region 2 Playdown.
Armitage Rink Scores 8-ender!
The Jim Armitage rink scored an 8-ender in a Monday Night Open League game on January 30, 2012.Congrats to Jim Armitage (Skip), Jim Kibiuk (Vice), Chris Schiiler (second), Larry Price (Lead)
The 8 point end was scored in the third end of the game during 9:00 pm draw on sheet 5.
Team Levesque Brings Provincial Title Home
FWCC's Team Levesque are the Northern Ontario Wheelchair Curling Champions. Levesque's team was a perfect 4-0 at the Northern Ontario MEDIChair Provincial Wheelchair Championships hosted at the Sudbury Curling Club January 27 to 29, 2012.
The champs are: Carl Levesque (Skip), Rick Bell (Vice), Mel Prairie (Second), Sharon LaFroye (Lead), David Kawahara (Coach).
